Emma and Rachel's story began with a chance meeting in their village of Monton, just outside of Manchester. What's funny is, they both hailed from the same town, Farnworth, and that's where their company name, Farmwoofs, was born. They share an undying love for animals and dream big about owning a farm filled with a wild mix of creatures—Shetland ponies, quirky silkie chickens (seriously, Google them!), elegant horses, a ton of dog breeds (too many to list!), a donkey, Highland cows, quacking ducks, and even adorable little pigs. The whole gang!
You've probably guessed it by now—the company name came from this charming animal medley.
Their journey into business was crystal clear from the get-go: curate luxury pet products from top-notch UK brands. Why? Because they had a tough time finding such fantastic stuff on the high street or in big stores. They spent days and nights hunting down premium products they loved and knew their customers would too. They decided to focus mainly on dogs because, let's face it, not everyone's got a Highland cow for a pet (but if you do, you're definitely one of a kind!).
